Innova MedTec provides design, development, and manufacturing of catheter-based delivery systems, including handles and full device assemblies for non-orthopedic medical device programs. Their team supports engineering from early feasibility through pilot production and commercialization, with expertise in complex catheter construction, manufacturability optimization, and process development.
Medical Component Specialists
Medical Component Specialists focuses on precision centerless grinding for medical device components, producing catheter forming mandrels, PTFE-coated mandrels, guidewires, core wires, cannulated drills, nitinol step mandrels, hypotubing, and orthopedic pins. Boker's
Boker's manufactures precision metal stampings, washers, spacers, and shims for medical device and other OEM applications. Custom stamping capabilities cover sizes up to 12 by 12 inches flat, thicknesses from 0.005 to 0.190 inches, and deep draws up to 3 inches deep and 8 inches in diameter. Over 2,000 metallic and non-metallic materials are available including medical-grade stainless steel, titanium, PTFE, and ABS. ProPlate
ProPlate provides precision electroplating services for medical device components, with over 40 years of experience in precious and semi-precious metal finishing. Capabilities include gold, platinum, palladium, palladium-nickel, rhodium, silver, nickel, and copper plating on metal and polymer substrates including Pebax, nylon, polyurethane, PET, nitinol, and stainless steel. Medical specialties include selective metallization of balloon catheters, low-profile radiopaque marker bands, pull ring assemblies, and plating on complex geometries. ISO 13485 certified.
Trio Labs
Trio Labs produces micro-scale metal components using RIPL (Resin Infused Powder Lithography), a proprietary additive manufacturing process that achieves CNC-level tolerances and Ra32 native surface finish without secondary machining. Resolution is 5 microns, density is 99% after sintering, and tolerances are as tight as 0.0005 inches. Materials include 17-4 and 316L stainless steel with additional alloys in development. Suitable for surgical robotics components, interventional catheter parts, and complex geometries that exceed the constraints of Swiss machining or metal injection molding. ISO 13485 certified and scalable from prototype to production.
Medical Device Imagineering
Medical Device Imagineering specializes in nitinol-based R&D and device engineering. Capabilities include laser cutting, stent design, finite element analysis (FEA), rapid prototyping, and a comprehensive testing suite covering ISO 25539 requirements, pulsatile durability, bending durability, and Af testing. Their team brings decades of nitinol design experience to cardiovascular, neurovascular, and implantable device programs.
Hoop Medical
Hoop Medical designs and manufactures medical balloons for catheter-based device programs, offering non-compliant, semi-compliant, compliant, and ultra-compliant configurations in PET, nylon, Pebax, polyurethane, and TPE. Advanced capabilities include braid-reinforced high-pressure balloons, radiopaque balloons visible under fluoroscopy without contrast, sensors and flexible electronics on balloon surfaces, custom shapes including dumbbell and donut configurations, and pleating and folding at the component level. Custom tooling is produced in one day and prototypes are delivered in 2 to 3 weeks. ISO 13485 certified.
Radcliff Wire
Radcliff Wire produces special shaped and close-tolerance round wire in over 60 metals and alloys for medical and other precision industries. Medical capabilities include round mandrel wire, shaped mandrel wire in half-oval and crescent profiles for multilumen balloon catheter construction, PTFE and Parylene-coated mandrel wire, and stainless steel wire in standard and custom profiles. They are one of very few US producers of precision shaped mandrel wire for multilumen medical tubing applications.
CathTeam
CathTeam offers equipment-based catheter training, a fully equipped maker space for rapid prototyping, and consulting services for catheter design and manufacturing teams. Training programs range from multi-day workshops covering braiding, coiling, lamination, and full catheter builds, to single-day focused sessions on specific processes, to fully customized programs built around a specific device or production line. Equipment includes Steeger braiders, RothGreaves coilers, laminators, hot boxes, UV curing tools, and testing equipment. Consulting services cover design guidance, process development, cost reduction, line optimization, and emergency line-down support.
Keystone Medical Technologies
Keystone Medical Technologies produces precision polymer extrusions for medical device applications, including single lumen, multilumen, over-extrusion, balloon tubing, and monofilaments. Diameters range from 0.010 to 0.500 inches. Materials include Pebax, polyethylene, polyamide, polyurethane, and thermoplastic elastomers with in-stock options for fast shipment. They also offer film-cast PTFE and polyimide tubing, custom die design, and R&D runs through high-volume production. ISO 13485 certified.
C-Axis
C-Axis delivers precision medical-grade machining from FDA-registered facilities, including Swiss turning centers up to 12-axis, CNC milling and turning, wire EDM, laser cutting, gear hobbing, and precision metal finishing. They support programs across orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurovascular, and surgical robotics applications, with process validation services and design for manufacturability support from prototype through high-volume production. Optinova
Optinova is a fluoropolymer and thermoplastic extrusion specialist with over 50 years of experience in medical tubing solutions. Their portfolio includes PTFE, FEP, PFA, ETFE, PVDF, and PEEK tubing in virtually any size and profile, including etched PTFE liners with bondable OD surfaces, FEP heat shrink in standard and QuickShrink configurations, braid-reinforced shafts, PEBA outer jacket tubing, and IV catheter tubing. Secondary operations include flaring, etching, tip-forming, coiling, and spiral cutting. In-stock heat shrink is available for immediate shipment. ISO 13485 certified.
Ingpuls Medical
Ingpuls Medical supplies nitinol wire and tube with full vertical integration from alloy design and ingot production through finished material. Their approach to controlling the entire manufacturing process from the melt allows for precise alloy composition, low inclusion counts, and consistent shape memory and superelastic properties. They also support custom alloy development for programs requiring specific transformation temperatures or mechanical performance. ISO 13485 certified.
Jimalu Medical
Jimalu Medical manufactures high-precision radiopaque marker bands for catheter-based medical devices. Materials include platinum, platinum-iridium, and gold, with 22 years of experience in precious metal component manufacturing. They offer fast lead times, small batch R&D orders, and consistent dimensional control for critical catheter and stent delivery system applications. ISO 13485 certified.
